I’ve spent a lot of time in Alice’s head. Sometimes, I understand her as easily as reading an open book. Other times, I find myself searching for answers – especially when it comes to Alice and Jasper’s wedding.
To dive deeper into her character, I ask myself questions like:
- As someone who loves to plan parties and attend weddings, why have Alice and Jasper only been married once?
- As a fashionista, why was Alice’s wedding ring so simple compared to the type of jewelry she and Jasper could afford?
- What would Alice have worn on that day? What would it have been like?
We never did get answers from Stephenie Meyer – so I wrote my own.
