Sorry for not updating lately, ladies! Things have been pretty hectic in real life, which hasn’t allowed much time for blogging. A real update is coming soon, but in the mean time, I wanted to update you on the fantastic piece I scored yesterday — finally!
That’s right — Alice’s Rebecca Taylor dress from New Moon! I had the Cosplay Sky replica, but I saw this on eBay for an amazing “buy it now” price of $150, so I pounced on it. It’s my dream item, so I’m still feeling a bit giddy. The good thing about me finding this, though, is that it tells us a few more details about the dress that we otherwise didn’t know.
Dress name: Red Carpet Starlet
Colour: Moon river
Fabric content: 93% silk, 7% spandex
Retail price: $320 USD

This should help anyone who either wants to have the dress made for them or see if the dress is still available in ANY stores. For those of you who want to create the dress, here’s a close up of the gem detailing in the front:
There are more pictures on the eBay auction, so check them out! They demonstrate the true colour of the dress without New Moon’s filtering, and give a much better idea of its cut and lines.

I’ve been searching and searching for the tops in Eclipse now. No luck so far, but my goal is to get both Anthropologie tops. I heard they’re both gorgeous. At least I know what they are now.

I’m totally envious! This is such an amazing find! I was at least lucky enough to pick up the weather meeting top from eclipse (and a really good filigree heart necklace to go with it) and the drawing parallels shirt from new moon 🙂
